counselling approach
I integrate somatic and body-based practices to help clients develop awareness of physical sensations, nervous system responses, and embodied experiences as essential parts of their well-being. By focusing on regulation and the mind-body connection, I support clients in building practical skills to manage stress, emotions, and challenges more effectively.
At the core of my practice is a person-centered approach, where I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for clients to feel heard, validated, and empowered. I incorporate strengths-based and solution-focused strategies to help individuals recognize their inner resources, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I also draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, shifting perspectives, and fostering healthier behaviors.
By combining these approaches, I offer a holistic, practical framework that supports self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth, allowing clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and ease.
